A Big Trip
Mom and I traveled to Sacramento last month.
Outside the Fox and Goose
We checked out some neighborhoods,
A local library
did some touristy stuff,
That sign says Scientology! Dorothy, we’re not in Maryland anymore.
looked at some houses,
Mom chatting with a realtor at this awesome house.
and decided that yes, moving to Sacramento could be a very good thing.
That same awesome house had a lime tree in the back yard. Gin and tonics forever!
I know, right? Did you ever think this Baltimore girl would leave the east coast? Me neither. Except that I really really really liked Sacramento when I visited in June. And it’s close to KK and her family. And I’ve spent 17 years in Baltimore and that humidity isn’t getting any better. So I’m actively job hunting in Sacramento and I plan to move as soon as I find a position. How fun!
So, if you have any connections in Sacramento, hook a sister up, mkay?

Don’t forget to get a place with a finished basement so your band has some place to sleep and practice when we tour the west coast.
