Tule Fog

Sacramento has this weather phenomenon called the Tule Fog (pronounced TOO-lee) that occurs in the wintertime.  Wintertime in Sacramento is more humid than the summertime apparently.  I’ll let you know my thoughts on that come August.  Suffice to say my morning walks with Chloe always include a winter hat.  Partly to keep me warm, and partly to protect my curls from the fog.

My neighbor clued me in on another way to combat the fog (and inevitable frost that follows when the temps drop):  The towel-on-the-windshield trick.

She’s not the only one who uses this technique.

So I tried it myself, and you know what?

It works like a charm.
