I Can’t Post Right Now, I Have A Puppy On My Lap
May 14, 2010
Don’t get nutso, she’s not MY puppy. I’m just watching her for the weekend. Along with Miss Restriction. It’s like a double dose of fostering here this weekend!
Do you know what I’ve learned from having an eight month old puppy in my house?
I’ve learned that I am not cut out to have an eight month old puppy in my house.
Oh my word. The energy.
You know, I’ve been scouring Petfinder for 1-3 year old dogs. Maybe I need to switch to 3-5 year old dogs.
Did I mention the energy?
Stay tuned. Pictures eventually. First I have a puppy to wear out.
I may wear out first.
Did I mention the energy?

small dogs tend to live longer, so maybe ~3 isn’t a bad starting point after all?! have a great weekend my darling, dog-lovin’ friend. good luck with the kiddo and the pup … you’ll probably look forward to monday and the office just so you can rest 😉 xx
Do you know how much better you made me feel by being overwhelmed by the energy? And you are what–17 years younger than me. It just makes me feel normal, instead of like a madwoman! And Noah is not yet 7 months old. I have to keep telling myself that because he really looks like a grown-up dog.
I was actually looking on Petfinder for dogs in the Baltimore area today…
Debby, you have my sympathy. Puppies are such hard work!!! And you have a BIG puppy to boot!
Oooh, did you see any cute ones on Petfinder for me?
Juice, did you read June’s post where she GOES OFF on LOL. It is too too funny, and I thought you could relate. I am resisting the urge to write you-know-what.

Debby, I felt such KINSHIP with June when I read that post!
I read this yesterday during my walk and I totally went, OH YAY SHE GOT HER DOG and so I am going on the record saying thanks for clearing that up first thing. Can’t wait to hear about your weekend after you’ve recovered. That might be, what? Wednesday?
LOL
(I just had to. I read that post as well)
Ha, that was a good one Juice. I read the headline and did a *squeal* “Ooooh, puppy!” which then became an “Oh” (disappointment). Hope you survived both child & canine, although the lack of updates concerns me. 🙂
