*If you have a dog, that is.
Which book, you ask?

This book!
You all know that I am a reader. I’ve read a bunch of books about dogs. This one is the most interesting, useful and enjoyable book about dogs that I have read. Hands down.
If you have a dog and you have not read this book, you are missing out.
Seriously, read this book.
Your dog will thank you for it.

Have you read Culture Clash yet? Any thoughts on it?
Debby, I am not familiar with that book. It’s not at the library either, but I just ordered it from half.com. Once I’ve read it let’s discuss. Did you enjoy it?
Actually, I just read the first chapter this morning. But my friend that has been ‘helping’ me with Noah has talked to me a lot about it. And when I first got it I read one sentence from it that totally identified to me what part of my problem with him has been.So far I very much enjoyed her thought process. Seems she comes at it from a real scientific/fact based point of view.
I’m really glad you are going to read it–will be interesting to discuss with you. Will also be interesting to compare/contrast the training of Chloe Grace and Noah. Love her name, BTW.
When I first found my Lily I read a book that completely changed my thinking about raising cats, so I think I can relate to what you’re saying. I’m always disappointed when people won’t read How To Get Your Cat To Do What You Want.
Caron,
I know!! It is so frustrating when you know something that will help someone AND THEY WON’T LISTEN! I can’t tell you the number of people that I have recommended the book to who won’t crack it open. I feel like shouting “People! The keys to the kingdom are right inside here! READ!!!!”
Come to think of it, I guess I feel the same way about the Bible…
Hmmmm, I have a friend who is about to adopt 2 cats. I’ll recommend that book to her. Don’t hold your breath, odds are she won’t read it. 😦
will keep that in mind when we are ready to get a new dog…
thanks for the recommendation!
