Dear Camp Unleashed,
Hi! I Chloe. I live Baltimore. Dis place pretty good. I like better than animal shelter. Dat place not so good.
Mama says I good city dog. We go lots places. Walk everwhere. We walk see Dr. T.
See scale behind me? I fourteen pounds 'zactly.
Mama keeps me busy while wait. I high five.
Den we go library.
We gots use book drop. No dogses 'lowed inside.
Den time for the shoppin. First stop buy toy for me!
How much dat doggie in the window?
Next stop joolree. Lady put bracelet on my head.
Dat not funny Mama.
Now go to park. I like park, but no running ‘lowed. Leashes for all dogses.
Dis my city. Mama let me sit park bench.
Sometimes Baltimore not so fun.
Some people no like dogses*
Sometimes Baltimore too much concrete.
You think dis dog frendlee?
Sometimes peoples litter chiken bones other stuffs.
Why you leave trash peoples? You drunk agen?
(Sometimes I don’t mind it.)

Good luck, Chloe. You would love camp. There are these things in the sky. They’re called stars. You rarely get to see them in the city, but at camp they’re everywhere. And the trees! And I bet there are squirrels, too.
Chloe, we are rooting for you! Especially your pint size human friend Ben (13mos). He said (in baby talk of course) that Chloe is just so friendly with dogs and even babies, and she deserves to be rewarded with the scholarship. Although it came out – goo-goo-doi-doi-seh =) We all agree that Chloe needs a getaway from the concrete jungle of the city! Plus, she is such a little sponge, we can only imagine how much she would learn! Good luck Chloe! We’re rooting for you!
Too much concrete in the hot summer for such a little dog. The woods are calling!
Chloe, I hope you get to go to camp. As much fun as Baltimore must be, you could certainly use some R&R ‘in the wild’. Who could refuse such a sweet face (especially that last picture!)? You need to go so you can come back and blog about your adventures!

I really hope you get to go to camp Chloe. If you do, take lots of photos and send them to your buddy Matty. He misses you terribly. He met a little Jack Russell the other day, but it just wasn’t the same. That Jack Russell didn’t want to play and wasn’t nearly as energetic and friendly. He got bored with Matty within minutes. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that you get to spend the weekend outdoors with lots of other dogs. I can’t think of anything better for a great little gal.

I don’t know who would have more fun at camp, Chloe or Juice?! No doubt they’d both be a great addition. Chloe is part chameleon I think as I’ve never seen a more adaptable dog able to adjust to any surrounding…city, park, suburbs, trails, etc. What a great way to cap off the summer…yeah Chloe!!!! Paws down you are a perfect choice!

The city is ruff sometimes 😉 Every rescue dog is deserving of a wonderful vacation in the green grass and nature. Chloe is just that a great rescue dog who deserves a little social time without concrete and hectic life of the city. She deserves it and hope she wins 🙂
Chloe-in-the-Dark’s life has so dramatically improved from when you first got her from the shelter. I’m pretty sure no one loves their dog more than you love C-belle! Camp Unleashed should really give Chloe a chance… don’t they know how many people read your blog?????? 🙂
