Chloe and Jayhawk’s Big Adventure
Saturday morning Chloe had a date with her friend Jayhawk. We headed out to a remote section of Gunpowder State where the pups could run free. I was surprised to see frost on the ground but it didn’t seem to slow Chloe down at all!
Jayhawk enjoyed the water. Chloe decided not to swim. I think it was just a little too cold for her – she doesn’t have Jayhawk’s gorgeous insulation!
As we were driving into the park a deer ran right between our two cars. That was scary! But it provided plenty of entertainment for Chloe. She spent most of the morning sounding like Snufalufagus as she ran around in circles hunting.
Jayhawk remained focused on his frisbee.
Or his ball. He was an equal opportunity retriever.
He’d play ball all day!
Meanwhile Chloe continued to hunt.
And Jayhawk fetched.
Here’s Jayhawk with his family.
Me and my girl.
Synchronized head tilts.
Tuckered out and headed home.
*insert happy sigh*
What a perfect weekend! Mine have anjoyed chasing the squirrels at the dog park. It’s easier to see them now, and they’re a bit noisier in the leaves. The girls feel this is a definite advantage, although they’ve yet to catch one.
Synchronized head tilt! ❤ Love it ❤ 🙂
What a fun play date!
You really did get some great shots of our walk on the rails. Glad to share time with the both of you!
