A Tiny Road Trip
The other weekend Chloe and I traveled to Virginia to visit friends. We went to a very dog-friendly area: Arlington and Alexandria.
It was a pretty day, so Ingy and I decided to walk to lunch in Shirlington. Initially, Chloe was not very happy with the seating arrangement.
She figured out a way to get what she wanted.
Technically dogs were not allowed inside the fenced area. Ingy and I played it casual.
Next we walked to the Shirlington dog park.
Chloe found something stinky to roll in down by the stream, so we quickly moved to the dry trail area.
Next on our agenda was a trip into Alexandria, some shopping and a visit with my favorite boutique owner, Susan of Zoe Boutique. She graciously agreed to pose with Chloe.
Happy and worn out, we headed for Baltimore with one last chore before bedtime.
Good friends, good travels and a clean puppy at the end of the day. I am blessed.
Hahaha this post is so funny. Great way to start my morning
It was a such a delight to have you and Chloe visit me at Zoe! I’m glad you had such a fun day in Virginia!
This post just warmed my heart! We eat in Shirlington fairly often. I stop and pet every dog I see. In Austin, the dogs can sit inside the fence. Come on Chloe! I don’t need much to convince me to head west!!
