A Vintage Holiday Market

November 29, 2012

One bonus about moving to Sacramento is that I get to be close to my friend the Nurse again.  Nurse E and I met in Baltimore when she was a student at Hopkins.  We were in the same Bible study and really hit it off.  After graduation Nurse E moved back to California and we stayed in touch via Facebook.  I was delighted to discover that Nurse E lives just outside of Sacramento.  We immediately made plans to reconnect.

Last weekend the Nurse and I decided to check out a vintage holiday market.

Once again my photography skills don’t do the market justice.

Each booth was beautifully merchandised with all kinds of unique items.

We lunched at Tower Cafe right near the market.  Described as a “worldly fusion eatery,” the Tower Cafe was voted Best Brunch 2012 by KCRA.

Lots of Frida Kahlo tchotchkes

A great day with a good friend!

I love the Tower Cafe! Plus how cool to meet up with an old friend! And the vintage market looks neat. I’ll have to watch for that next year. Although I kind of live in ‘vintage market’ area I guess.
