Chloe Makes The Grade
File this under: We’re not in Maryland anymore.
One of my first tasks when I moved to California was to find a reliable dogwalker for Chloe. We had been incredibly spoiled in Baltimore. Miss Terry lived right down the street and provided Chloe with lots of love. In fact, the one time that Maryland experienced an earthquake Miss Terry took it upon herself to check in on Chloe. We miss you Miss Terry!
Speaking of earthquakes, this photo from the Maryland / Virginia earthquake never fails to amuse me:
But I digress.
Back to Chloe. We were also VERY spoiled to have Uncle Russ and Aunt Jen, who graciously opened their home (and their kayak) to Chloe whenever I needed to travel. They provided a calm and safe harbor during my last chaotic days in Baltimore when the house was on the market, movers were coming in and out, and Dad and I were busy completing our East Coast bucket list. We miss you Russ and Jen!
Fortunately I’ve discovered Downtown Hound here in Sacramento. Christine is reliable and dog-savvy. Best of all, Chloe gets a report card with each visit. Want to see one?
I know the fashion now is to go gradeless and just give everyone a participation award, but I’m pretty sure you can read between the lines and see what I’m seeing:
Straight A’s for my girl.
Was there any doubt?
Good job Chloe!!! You have one proud momma!
I would expect nothing less from Chloe! Love the report card concept – it gives you a good feeling for her day!
